About Thermolon
Thermolon Ltd. is a manufacturer and supplier of PTFE-free non-stick coatings, with our research and development based in South Korea and our sales and finance center in Hong Kong.
A team of Korean chemists including Mr. C.K. Park, now the President of Thermolon Ltd, first developed Thermolon.
The new PTFE/PFOA free coating was first introduced in July 2007 and even in the short intervening time, is now on product in 46 different countries worldwide.
This success is down to a breakthrough in Sol-Gel technology that has enabled
Thermolon to create mineral coatings with unique characteristics. Since then, Thermolon Ltd has developed and patented its coatings for varied applications, and the results can be seen in the new range of products suitable for many purposes.
Born from extensive scientific research and modern manufacturing methods, it mirrors our concern for consumer's health and the environment. Less energy is used during the application process of Thermolon. This is an important characteristic, which contributes to a 60% decrease in CO2 emissions in comparison with conventional non-stick surfaces. Moreover, there's no PFOA involved as a basic raw material - PFOA is hazardous for both our health and our environment.
